One Month To Go!

I am excited to announce that exactly one month from today we will be leaving for our new (temporary) home in Florida. I was looking at the average temperatures in Orlando for the months we are down there...happy to let you know that the lowest average temp. is 10 degress higher than freezing...WOOHOO!!

Brandon and I talked to a lady from our school's Career Center who seemed rather interested in us participating in the WDW College Program. She told us that some of the past students who have participated said it was definately a life-changing experience and was well worth it...which made us even more excited to go.

Lately we've been recalling our favorite Disney attractions. Together we've created our own top 10 list for each park...very hard to pick only ten and even harder to agree sometimes! I guess that's what marriage is suppose to teach you...to compromise. Some of you may agree with our choices, some may disagree, but for those of you who can't do either....you need to go to Walt Disney World ASAP!

Waiting is the Hardest Part

This feeling of restlessness won't go away until we are there. The only thing that helps is packing up our belongings one box at a time. Even that gets old, though. Once we're down there I know we will think the days just flew by, but for now they are crawling.

I have to say...it will be hard being so far away from family and friends...and especially our kitten, Chandler, which we've grown very attached to. Just look at his face - how can you not miss that?

Well I suppose it's off to bed now...at least those 8 hours fly by fast!

Accepted!

So, Brandon and I have both been accepted into the Disney College Program down in Walt Disney World, Florida...and we can't wait until we get there! We leave in August and will return in January. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the program, you can check out their website which has plenty of information: http://www.wdwcollgeprogram.com

Brandon's working position will be in recreation and mine will be within one of the resorts. We won't know exactly where or what we'll be doing until we sign in. As far as classes go, we won't choose which classes we will take until we are down there.

As of right now, we have just been packing and getting ready for the wedding. I have a feeling that the next few weeks will go by extremely fast...which can be both good and bad.

I will try to post frequently once we are down there to let everyone in on what we've been up to. Don't forget to let us know what's been going on back home either!

Well, as they say in Disney..."Have a Magical Day!"
